Library & Media Center

 

The Library is open to students and staff.  Students are welcome whenever they have no scheduled class.  Students must swipe in or show a pass from their class. Students may borrow circulating materials using their school ID cards.

The Library has a large collection separated into sub-locations: Art, Music, Dance, Drama, Literature, Social Sciences, and Fiction. Numerous databases are also accessible at home.  LaGuardia students are entitled to an NYC Public Library card.  This gives students borrowing privileges and access to hundreds of database resources. Students can fill out the application online. Students aged 13-17 are not required to show ID to get a library card.
