The Annual Appeal is one of the major fundraisers sponsored by the Parents Association. The PA charges no dues or fees of any kind, and, therefore, every fall, each family is asked to make a financial contribution in order to fund PA activities, including Rising Stars, grants, scholarships, and special events.
An annual fall event, Annual Appeal has been the major source of funding for the LaGuardia Arts Parents Association in recent years. The Annual Appeal enables the PA to provide additional support to the Studios, for example, new kilns for the art studio. The Annual Appeal also allows the PA to support projects that benefit the entire school, such as the LaGuardia Arts website, Rising Stars, school sweatshirts, and a face-lift for the lobby, While other fundraising events and efforts have started to emerge, Annual Appeal still remains a major source of the Parents Association's income and is key to our ability to support our school and thereby our children.
