The Drama Department is a professional training program that provides students with the skills and techniques necessary to pursue a career in acting. This training prepares students to enter directly into professional careers in stage, film and television or entrance into Theatre, Speech and Communications Departments of colleges, universities and conservatories. The focus is on preparation through courses in Theatre History and Criticism, Acting, Voice and Diction, Physical Techniques, and Dance: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and Theatre Dance.
The Technical Theatre Department is a professional training program that provides students with the skills and techniques necessary to pursue a career in Technical Theatre. Concepts and aesthetics are taught using contemporary teaching methods that utilize state-of-the-art equipment. Professionally produced events in our 1,150 seat concert hall and 450 seat theatre provide our students with practical hands-on work experiences.
