Does a student have to live in New York City to attend LaGuardia Arts?
Only NYC residents are eligible to attend LaGuardia Arts. In fact addition, a student must be living in NYC at the time of the audition.
My family just recently moved to NYC. Am I eligible to attend?
We only accept students beginning their freshmen or sophomore years. We hold auditions the end of August for those students who move here after our regular audition cycle. To arrange for an audition, email Admissions@LaGuardiaHS.net.
How do I take a tour of LaGuardia Arts?
Many of our performances are open to the public, and people get a feel of the school by visiting our performance spaces. An Open House is held for accepted students each February. Tours for educator groups may be arranged through our Admissions Office. Please contact Admissions@LaGuardiaHS.net.
How do I get tickets to events at LaGuardia Arts?
Tickets are generally available immediately prior to a performance at the Box Office and are for General Admission. For certain performances, such as our Annual Musical, Spring Drama Festival, and Opera, reserved seat tickets may be purchased on line. All information regarding tickets sales is posted on our Home Page.
I am interested in teaching at LaGuardia Arts. To whom do I send my resume?
